It stood out eerily, deeply imprinted on the rain-soaked asphalt, glowing like flames. A single figure walked beneath it. Though they should have been holding a white umbrella, the red light swallowed everything. The city's glare and human presence. By blurring that boundary and inverting it, the sensation of being drawn into the light itself was emphasized. 暗闇で灯る大きなネオン。異様なほど際立ち、雨に濡れたアスファルトに深く染み込み、炎のように輝いていた。その下を歩くひとりの人影。白い傘を差していたはずなのに、赤い光はすべてを飲み込んでいた。都市の眩さと人の存在。その境界を曖昧にし、逆さまにすることで光そのものに引き込まれる感覚を強調した。

The cat, usually charming, seemed to gaze down coldly at the crowd in this moment alone, slightly shifting the city's reality. The uniformity of the umbrellas and the accidental alignment of the gaze combined to create a single image etching an alien presence into everyday life. 新宿東口の巨大広告に現れた三毛猫と、ビニール傘で埋め尽くされた交差点。 普段は愛嬌を振りまく猫が、この瞬間だけ人々を冷ややかに見下ろしているように映り、街の現実がわずかにずれた。 傘の統一感と視線の偶然が重なり合い、日常に異質な気配を刻んだ一枚である。

The moment I raised my camera, the shop lights went out, leaving only the neon glowing.It was a fortuitous moment that made me strongly desire to capture this scene. I positioned my 50mm lens at a low angle, layered the silhouettes of passersby, and pressed the shutter. The instant where the city's lights and human shadows intersected carried a distinctly cinematic resonance. 銀座の路地に灯るネオンに惹かれ、足を止めた。カメラを構えたその瞬間、店内の明かりが消え、ネオンだけが浮かび上がった。 「ここで一枚を残したい」と強く思わせた偶然のタイミング。50mmレンズをローアングルで構え、行き交う人々のシルエットを重ねてシャッターを切った。都市の光と人の影が交差する瞬間は、どこかシネマティックな余韻を帯びていた。

Crouching low, I aimed for the glow of pedestrians illuminated by headlights and the wet tactile paving stones. In that instant, a single step crossing before my eyes shaped the frame, and the image I envisioned emerged in a form of chance. Amidst the urban clamor, a single shot born from the intersection of intention and coincidence. 雨夜の新橋。しゃがみ込み、ヘッドライトに照らされる歩行者と濡れた点字ブロックの輝きを狙った。その瞬間、目の前を横切った一歩がフレームを形づくり、思い描いた像が偶然のかたちで浮かび上がった。 都市の喧騒のただなかで、意図と偶然が交差して生まれた一枚。

In the darkness, few people were around, and the alley slept as if it had forgotten its usual bustle. A lone musician passed quietly through the lane, its closed shutters exuding a sense of melancholy. 雨の静まり返った思い出横丁を見たいと、始発で新宿へ向かった。暗がりの中、人影はまばらで、普段の喧騒を忘れたかのように横丁は眠っていた。閉ざされたシャッターが哀愁を漂わせるその路地を、ひとりのミュージシャンが静かに通り過ぎていった。
